As a registered nurse-midwife at our hospital, you will deliver high-quality patient care and conduct comprehensive clinical assessments.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality patient care through care coordination, collaboration, and communication within the scope of professional competence.
* Cultivate meaningful partnerships with patients and their support network to ensure individual needs are met with compassion and understanding.
* Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and craft personalized care plans to achieve optimal outcomes for each patient.
* Undertake comprehensive discharge planning to ensure patients and their support persons, where applicable, are properly educated, resource, and community services access.
* Offer support and guidance to colleagues and nursing students, drawing upon your wealth of experience and knowledge to foster growth and excellence within the team.
About You
We are seeking compassionate individuals who:
* Hold current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency demonstrating a commitment to excellence in nursing practice.
* Possess dual qualifications in general nursing and midwifery showcasing a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
* Bring prior working experience relevant to patient-centred care environment specialty commensurate with level of seniority required to meet the workforce needs.
* Have currency of life support skills applicable to patient-centred care environment specialty.
* Provide comprehensive care and support to women during the antenatal and postnatal periods.
* Demonstrate experience in birth suites and special care nursery caring for neonates from 32 weeks gestation and above.
* Demonstrate commitment to continued quality improvement and best-practice principles.
