As a key member of our aftersales leadership group, you'll oversee the day-to-day running of the service department while reporting directly to the Group Service Manager. Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to : Oversee Daily Workshop Operations: Ensure efficient service workflows, monitor technician performance, and manage repair order processing. Lead and Manage Staff: Supervise team members, conduct briefings, provide coaching, and handle rostering. Enhance Customer Experience: Support service advisors, handle escalations, and work to improve customer satisfaction scores. Reporting & Communication: Track KPIs, assist with performance reporting, and participate in service meetings. Ensure Compliance & Safety: Maintain quality standards, ensure policy compliance, and manage workshop cleanliness and safety. Coordinate Parts & Workflow: Work with the parts team, manage delays, and ensure accurate quoting and job follow-up. Drive Operational Improvements: Identify efficiency gains and contribute to strategies for customer retention and service growth. We are looking for someone who has : Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a dealership service department (Honda experience highly regarded). Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a Service Advisor, Workshop Controller, or Assistant Manager role. Strong understanding of manufacturer warranty, service procedures, and retail repair processes. Strong leadership skills - able to motivate, coach, and guide a small team. Customer-focused with a proven ability to resolve escalated issues professionally. Solid knowledge of KPI tracking and service department metrics (e.g., gross profit, labour recovery, efficiency, productivity). Familiarity with dealership management systems like EraNet, Auto-IT, or Reynolds & Reynolds This is a full time position working Monday to Friday.
