What you will be doing
* Provide friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, helping them find the perfect gifts and souvenirs
* Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system
* Maintain a neat, tidy and visually appealing store environment
* Assist with stock management tasks, such as receiving deliveries, restocking shelves and managing inventory
* Contribute to the achievement of sales targets and key performance indicators
* Actively participate in team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve your product knowledge and customer service skills
What we're looking for
* Minimum 3 years experience in a customer service retail role.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable manner
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
* Enthusiasm for providing outstanding customer service and a genuine passion for the products we sell
* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays. You may be asked to do opening shifts or close shifts.
* A motivated and team-oriented attitude, with the ability to work collaboratively
* Previous Assistant Manager or Supervisor experience is favourable
* Basic Microsoft Office skills
