Great opportunity working in the self storage industry with a market leader. The key focus of this role is managing multi-site locations to ensure ongoing performance of the site/asset. As the Area Manager, you'll engage with finance, operations, sales, customer experience and marketing teams to identify, champion and implement initiatives to drive continued revenue growth and full asset utilisation.
What you will be doing....
Reviewing a range of data to formulate an understanding of each location including PnL, finance and customer metrics
Monitor and track day to day operational performance of multiple sites including revenue, recovery and occupancy rates
Collaborate with internal stakeholders across finance, operations, marketing, CX and customer service
Manage relationships with external contractors and providers
Onboard new sites/locations
Be the primary escalation point for complex customer and operational issues
Champion high customer experience levels as well as review feedback and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Identify opportunities for growth and site expansion
Assist to implement local promotional and marketing activities
Visit sites to assess and ensure compliance and safety working closely with the Safety Officer to conduct audits and risk assessments

Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in self-storage sector is highly regarded. We are also keen to receive applications from candidates in adjacent industries such as hotels, unit complexes, facilities management where you have managed an asset based site.
Confidence in communicating with a range of stakeholders internally and externally
Reviewing data and metrics, analysing and the ability to formulate plans and implement initiatives
In reading/analysing the PnL, being across the numbers and understanding how to drive performance
Adaptability and flexibility in problem solving and issues management
High proficiency in systems with a willingness to learn new systems and tools
Proactiveness in identifying and resolving problems with a customer focus
