Responsibilities
Position Summary
Performs support tasks for the Shipping Department.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Entering data into SAP database about quantities of issued and transferred parts
2. Resolving job/segments shortage discrepancies
3. Receiving manufactured parts into stock and issuing out to upcoming jobs
4. Assisting in daily tasks to assure productivity efficiency
5. Identifying parts through the use of UKG and drawings
6. Updating daily Sr. Management on the status of shortages on the segments
7. Investigating missing stock parts needed for work orders and sales orders
8. Monitoring and keeping an updated shortage list available for the Shipping Management team
9. Working with every department to resolve shortages to close job/segments in time
10. Informing shipping of any findings to help segments ship on time
11. Complying with all requirements of Daifuku's QMS policies and procedures
12. Ensuring sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction
Qualifications
1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred
2. UKG/SAP/Wynsoft experience preferred
3. Strong computer skills including MS Office
4. Accurate data entry skills
5. Technical orientation
6. Excellent organization skills
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
8. Customer service orientation
9. Team orientation
10. Self-motivated and detail-oriented
11. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and multi-task on a daily basis
12. Ability to work Saturdays as needed
