The Opportunity
As a Manager Information Services Project Management Office, you will support the development, implementation and operations of the Information Services Project Management Office (PMO) through:
1. Providing advice, mentoring and guidance to support project practitioners and project governance groups on project management methodologies, standards and tools.
2. Promoting contemporary best practice project management methodologies and standards
3. Leading pragmatic improvements to project methods, tools and learnings to support cultural change and the adoption of best practice project management across the Department.
4. Championing a culture that contributes to repeatable project success. Including facilitating the integration of PMO services, tools and support functions.
5. Providing a ‘whole of systems’ perspective regarding PMO methods, tools and learning including organisational culture, structure and process impacts. Monitoring the project and IS demand pipeline.
6. Monitoring, governance and reporting on all Project and IS demand works undertaking quality assurance and reporting to senior leaders on performance as required.
