The Opportunity
This is a strategic conference content role with full ownership of agenda development, speaker curation and program direction across executive summits in ANZ and Southeast Asia. You'll report directly to the Managing Director and operate as the content authority for the business.
iMedia (part of global event group Comexposium) produces executive-level Retail and Marketing summits across Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia. Our audiences are C-suite leaders, senior retailers, global brands and technology platforms.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Conference Producer to take full ownership of agenda development and speaker preparation across multiple summits running in parallel.
This is not a marketing content role.It is a strategic conference production role focused on research-driven programming, senior stakeholder engagement and on-stage content quality.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Owning agenda development end-to-end across multiple executive-level summits
Researching industry trends and translating them into commercially strong, insight-led programs
Identifying, engaging and briefing C-suite speakers and senior industry leaders
Designing keynotes, panels, debates, fireside conversations and roundtables
Running detailed speaker briefings and confidently challenging generic or promotional content
Working with advisory boards to shape themes and validate programming direction
Managing sponsored content while protecting editorial integrity
Attending events (approx. five per year across ANZ & SEA) to oversee session delivery and speaker execution

Email marketing or automation
Brand marketing or digital content
Website content or SEO
(You may collaborate with marketing on LinkedIn promotion of speakers and sessions, but the core focus is agenda ownership and speaker preparation.)
About You
You have a proven track record producing executive-level conference programs.
You are confident engaging senior stakeholders and C-suite leaders, and you are comfortable shaping and challenging content to ensure quality.
You've moved beyond pure execution—you think strategically about program development, industry trends and content that resonates with senior audiences. You can synthesise complex inputs and make independent editorial decisions.
You likely have:
6–10 years producing executive-level B2B conferences, with proven strategic programming capability
Direct experience briefing senior executives
Strong research capability and editorial judgement
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
The ability to balance commercial objectives with program integrity
Backgrounds in conferences, media, publishing or corporate communications are highly regarded.
