As the Senior Solution Architect, Network and Security, you will provide end-to-end solution design and presales support for customer opportunities, from early qualification and discovery through to solution architecture, bill of materials, effort estimation, proposal and statement of work development, RFP responses, and customer presentations and demonstrations.

To do this, you will be responsible for:

* Engaging with customers and external stakeholders to understand their priorities, value drivers and needs relating to networking. Includes conducting customer facing workshops with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to assess low areas of maturity, confirm processes, requirements and to articulate priority areas and a recommended approach.
* Provide well-conceived, clearly articulated, pragmatic network and security solutions and recommendations to complex technology and business problems. This includes leading technical conversations and high-level design and scoping for network and network security solutions including:
o SD-WAN and SASE solutions incorporating network carriage, vendor technology and managed services.
o Enterprise Campus Networking solutions including Datacentre and Campus LAN, SDN and network management solutions.
o Campus Wi-Fi solutions including RF design, Wi-Fi vendor technology and associated identity/access control and security services.
o SASE and SSE solutions including SWG, ZTNA, CASB and DLP.
o Next-Generation Firewall solutions including hardware, virtualised and cloud service.
o Network and security infrastructure management, carriage services and data centre hosting services.
* Deliver high quality product, subscription, professional services and managed services solution quotes/proposals as well as Requests for Proposal (RFP), Request for Tenders (RFT), Expressions of Interest (EOI), etc. As part of this you will need to develop the Bill of Materials, Work Breakdown Structure for transition & onboarding project work and the Statement of Work.
* While this role is focussed on networking and network security deals, these often cross over multiple practice areas. As such, you will need to:
o Collaborate with other departments, such as Project Management, Business Operations, Sales Support, General Managers, and technical SME's to ensure solution alignment and drive customer success.
o Build and maintain relationships with other specialist in the presales team and the wider services team (e.g. networking, security, contact center / Genesys, Dynamics 365, ServiceNow)
* Engage in presales handover and customer kick-off meetings to ensure requirements and value drivers are agreed and clearly understood between Customer, PMO and Delivery Teams. You may also need to proactively support delivery teams if issues arise in projects or managed services you developed.
* Drive the continuous improvements of our service offerings based on client experiences.
* Contribute to the development of a high performing presales team that can build trust with the business and our customers to deliver high quality services and effectively navigate through a continually changing technology landscape. This includes supporting continuous improvement of presales assets and processes, such as standardised & reusable content.


Professional Experience & Technical Knowledge


Required

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or other relevant tertiary qualification.
* At least 7 years of experience working in a network-related presales role or hybrid network security consultancy / delivery role with presales responsibilities within a system integrator or Managed Service Provider (MSP).
* Working knowledge with more than one of the following vendor solution stacks: Cisco, Aruba, Extreme, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet, SentinelOne, Netskope, zScaler.
* Previous experience in scoping and quotation of network carriage services, NBN, private fibre, satellite, fixed wireless services and data centre hosting services would be advantageous.
* Recent hands-on technical configuration capability and experience with the ability to collaborate with and provide guidance to delivery teams to achieve solution outcomes


Desirable

* Relevant expert or professional level vendor and industry certifications such as Cisco CCIE, Aruba ACMP/ACSP/ACMX, Palo Alto PCNSE, Fortinet NSE7, Checkpoint CCSE. Certification in Azure and AWS public cloud platforms.
