The Role: Work with a diverse portfolio of clients across accounting and tax matters Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for various entities Assist with BAS/IAS preparation and lodgements Support senior team members with tax planning and advisory work Liaise with clients and build strong working relationships Complete reconciliations, journals, and general compliance tasks Manage your workflow to meet deadlines and lodgement requirements Maintain accurate client records and documentation Support junior staff and contribute to a team environment About You: 2–5 years’ experience in public practice accounting Degree qualified (or near completion) Working towards CA or CPA (highly regarded) Strong technical foundation across tax and compliance Experience with Xero, XPM, ATO Portal and Microsoft Office Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Good communication skills and confidence working with clients Proactive, team-focused and eager to learn What’s On Offer: Well-established firm with strong regional presence Exposure to a diverse client base and industries Supportive, team-focused culture Ongoing training and professional development Clear career progression opportunities Lifestyle benefits of living in North Queensland Competitive salary package If you’re looking to build your career in a firm that offers variety, development and long-term opportunities, apply now.
