About the Role
We are seeking a motivated, responsible, and enthusiastic Clinical Coordinator to take ownership of all clinical tasks and daily coordination, including equipment management, stock inventory, and maintenance. This role is ideal for a Surgical Dental Assistant who is ready to step into leadership while continuing to develop new skills in advanced surgical procedures.
This is a permanent part-time position (four days per week), supporting the clinical operations at our Wodonga location. For the right candidate, this role offers the opportunity to grow into broader Clinical Manager responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and oversee all clinical tasks, equipment organisation, maintenance, and inventory management.
* Assist in a wide range of advanced surgical and non-surgical procedures, including implants, sinus elevation, immediate-load cases, bone and soft tissue grafting.
* Support procedures under Local Anaesthetic, General Anaesthetic, and IV sedation.
* Ensure clinical areas run smoothly, anticipating equipment and material needs ahead of complex cases.
* Build strong rapport with patients, supporting their comfort, confidence, and understanding throughout their treatment.
* Uphold high standards of infection control and clinical compliance.

Your Experience & Qualities
* Certificate III in Dental Assisting (required).
* Certificate IV or Den 4/5 qualifications highly regarded.
* 3–5 years experience as a Dental Assistant, ideally with sterile surgical assisting skills.
* Strong commitment to exceptional patient care.
* Reliable, proactive, organised, and able to manage competing tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting.
* Accurate adherence to infection control protocols.
* Experience with dental photography and intra oral scanning is advantageous.
