Job Description
This role is designed to support GP practices within a primary care network by handling clinical correspondence, coding documents, and referring actions to the relevant teams.
You will work closely with our Digital Clinical Hub team to ensure that medical records are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible. Your attention to detail and ability to prioritize workload will be essential in delivering high-quality results under pressure.
We are looking for someone who has experience working with EMIS software, understands medical terminology, and can communicate effectively with colleagues from various healthcare professions.
As part of this role, you will receive training through the Personalised Care Institute, which will enhance your skills and contribute to the development of the Care Coordinators national framework.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Code and file documents received by GP practices
2. Refer documents requiring action to the relevant GP practice team
3. Complete daily audits to support data quality
4. Maintain a daily log of work done
5. Work towards daily targets for document completion
6. Engage in weekly huddles to collaborate with team members and share knowledge
7. Participate in relevant training to support personal growth and team development
Required Qualifications and Skills:
* GCSE or A Level standard in English and Maths
* Experience in complex administrative procedures
* Competency in Microsoft Office applications
* Familiarity with EMIS clinical software
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
