Mechanical Trade Assistants!
We are currently seeking motivated Mechanical Trade Assistants to join our team working alongside our respected Client based in Jandakot, WA.
This role is primarily workshop-based, you will receive a minimum of 32 hours a week. Shutdown work will be required and hours will increase significantly based on shutdown time and length. Shutdown work Duties will include fixing & repairing vibrating screens on the coal handling plant, working in a harness, component change-outs, fault finding, repairs, and same-day replacements.
The Role:
- ASAP Start with ongoing work
- Exposure to large mining companies
- Guaranteed minimum of 32 hours a week, must be available within 24 hours' notice to fly to site.
- Rates starting from $48 + per hour plus penalties

Essential Selection Criteria:
- Permanent Resident or Citizen of Australia
- Trade Assistant Experience
- Australian driver’s license
- HRWL - Forklift
- Current Working at Heights (2 years)
- Current Confined Space + Gas Test Atmospheres (2 years)
- Ability to pass Lab Drug & Alcohol Tests and Pre-employment Medical
- National Police Check (within 12 months)
- Construction White Card
- Willingness to learn, the right attitude, and exceptional work ethic
Advantageous
- Mine Site experience
- HRWL: Basic Rigging
- Induction: BHP, FMG, RIO, Goldfields
- First Aid
