Job Title: Procurement Manager - Logistics

Visy is powering the circular economy, closing the loop between packaging, remanufacturing, and recycling. Over 75 years, we\u2019ve grown to 7,000 employees and 150 global operations - predominantly in Australia and New Zealand.
We believe materials are not recycled until they\u2019ve been made into new products. We collect and sort recyclable materials like paper, cardboard, glass, plastics, and metals from households and businesses and locally remanufacture them back into new, sustainable packaging. From cardboard boxes, water bottles, and jam jars to food and beverage cans, we are using recycled content to power Australia and New Zealand\u2019s food and beverage packaging industry.
Drive commercial value for Visy through cost savings, cost avoidance, working capital improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the businesses requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement sourcing and negotiation strategies for logistics spend.
* Lead tenders/RFPs, evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and communicate outcomes.
* Support VL Commercial and Sales teams with pricing for tenders.
* Contribute to working capital targets and ensure correct purchasing channels.
* Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
* Execute and communicate Global Procurement contracts.
* Ensure compliance with agreements and KPIs.
* Promote adherence to procurement, financial, and legal policies.
What you'll bring to the team:
* Bachelor\u2019s/ Master\u2019s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master\u2019s degree or relevant certifications is a plus.
* Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar procurement role within the logistics warehousing/ transportation industry.
* Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
* Project Management capabilities
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, working effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Experience using SAP, Advanced Excel, and Power BI would be advantageous.
* Leadership and team management experience.
