About the role
Our Inspire at Home Program supports young people aged 12-18 in residential placements. As the Regional Placement Lead, you will play a key leadership role in delivering high-quality, therapeutic care that ensures a structured, safe and supportive environment and promotes life skills, education and meaningful connections.
As a Regional Placement Lead, you will:
* Oversee day-to-day operations of Inspire at Home placements in your region, including residential care, transitional placements, and outreach programs.
* Lead and support a multidisciplinary team, fostering a positive therapeutic culture.
* Participate in assessments, care team meetings, and the development of individualised support plans for young people.
* Ensure effective roster management, staff supervision, and professional development.
* Manage budgets and resources to maintain high-quality service delivery.
* Provide on-call emergency support on a rotational basis.
About You
You will hold Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Community Services, Youth Work or a related field or significant experience in a similar role.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
* Proven leadership experience in services supporting children and young people, in the out-of-home care and Intensive Therapeutic Care settings.
* Effectiveness in staff management and conflict resolution, and commitment to a culture of continuous improvement.
* Strong understanding of childhood trauma, adolescent development, and therapeutic care practices.
* Extensive experience (min 3 years) working with young people with complex needs.
* A commitment to safety, well-being, and CatholicCare’s values.
Essential Requirements
* Current Working with Vulnerable People registration (Tasmania)
* National Police Criminal History Check
* Valid full Tasmanian Driver’s Licence
