Overview
Darling Range Sports College provides sporting programmes in Australian Football League (AFL) and AFL Women, Athletics, Baseball, Basketball, Netball, Soccer, Swimming, and Rugby. The college also offers extensive opportunities to participate in the Academic Challenge and Enrichment Programme '(ACES)', the Music Programme, the Vocational Educational Programme and the Arts Programme.
The Role
Darling Range SC is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Library Officer to join their dedicated team.
As a Library Officer, you would be responsible for the provision of reference information and for maintaining the resources, environment and associated services of the school resource centre to support the learning outcomes of students. The Technology and Resource Centre is a multi-faceted area which includes maintenance and circulation of ICT equipment.
The Library Officer also administers the library systems, ensuring library records are up to date and that library resources are maintained and processed so they are always accessible and available to students and staff.
The successful applicant will ideally provide general clerical and library support, including preparing correspondence, booking all equipment and facilities, assisting with stock‐taking, monitoring, and ordering consumables.
In this role, you will need to build trust‐filled, quality relationships with high‐school students, parents and staff. You should have the skills to support and encourage students to achieve the aims outlined in the Western Australian Curriculum. You will demonstrate excellent attention to detail and the ability to operate effectively in a digitally oriented library environment.

Eligibility
* Be an Australian, New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
* Obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start;
* Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
