CSBP is a part of Wesfarmers Chemicals, Energy & Fertilisers. Our Sodium Cyanide business manufactures and supplies product to the Western Australian and international gold mining sector through Australian Gold Reagents Pty Ltd (AGR), our 75% joint venture with Coogee Chemicals.

**The Opportunity**
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Supply Chain Services Lead to join our team! This is a key position within the AGR Supply Chain Team in ensuring continuity and security of the supply of sodium cyanide to both domestic and international customers.
The role may require significant travel throughout WA and Australia visiting transportation suppliers and remote mine sites and may also require international travel.
Reporting to the Export and Supply Chain Manager you will be responsible for day-to-day management of suppliers and transport providers as well as contract management.
**Your key responsibilities will include**:
- Manage transport contractors execution of activities to optimise performance in line with their contracts and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee packaging and Isotainer suppliers performance management in line with contractual obligations.
- Oversee the contracting of transport, packaging and isotainer suppliers by liaising with support services category management team as the business owners representative.
- Generate cost saving initiatives, undertake benefits analysis and develop expenditure authorisation for management review and approval.
- Provide project management and technical assistance for AGR projects as and when required.
- Drive innovation and improvement initiatives in both packaging, storage and transportation of Sodium Cyanide.
- Support the Compliance Lead to ensure the transport and logistics of sodium cyanide is in-line with AGR and regulatory requirements.
**About You**
- Tertiary qualifications in logistics, commercial, science or engineering related areas preferred
- Sound knowledge and experience in contractor management or procurement
- Sound technical experience in a production or operations environment or a technical sales role would be advantageous
- Sound knowledge of Dangerous Goods regulations and Dangerous Goods transport and logistics
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Relationship building skills
- Planning and project management skills and team skills
- Sound knowledge of MS Office software
**Given the nature of the position and within reason, the successful incumbent will be required to be contactable outside of business hours.**
