Senior Clinical Educator – Occupational Therapy – GP Plus Elizabeth (Part‐Time, 15 hrs/week)
Location: Elizabeth, Northern Adelaide Local Health Network. Salary: $108,347 – $116,216 p.a. (pro‐rata) plus Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice benefits – AHP3. Position until 4 December 2026.
About the Role
You'll play a pivotal role in delivering high‐quality clinical education across our Intermediate Care Service, supporting students and embedding excellence in practice.
What You'll Be Doing
* Lead and deliver high‐quality clinical education for Occupational Therapy students within the Intermediate Care Service.
* Create meaningful, supported, and engaging student learning experiences.
* Partner with universities to strengthen education and service outcomes.
* Contribute directly to patient care, supporting people with chronic conditions to optimise function and live well.
About the Team
The Intermediate Care Service is a community‐based, multidisciplinary team including Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Social Work, Dietetics, Exercise Physiology, Podiatry, and Interdisciplinary Complex Self‐Management support services. It partners with community services and other NALHN Divisional services to help people with chronic conditions stay well and out of hospital.
About You
* Experienced clinician with a passion for people and practice.
* Strong experience in clinical education and student supervision.
* Excellent clinical skills, especially in chronic disease management and evidence‐based care.
* Natural ability to teach, mentor, and bring out the best in others.
* Excellent communication, confident in negotiation, collaboration, and problem solving.
* Proven ability to build partnerships and work across teams.
* Leadership capability, balancing autonomy and teamwork.
* Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
* Holder of an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification that entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
