We're looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Rockhampton office and play a key role in delivering high-impact projects across Queensland. You'll work alongside experienced geotechnical and environmental professionals on a wide variety of urban development and critical infrastructure projects.
What You'll Be Doing
* Planning and managing geotechnical site investigations
* Soil and rock logging, lab testing programs, and in-situ field testing
* Conducting geotechnical analysis using tools like PLAXIS, Geostudio, Wallap, etc.
* Preparing high-quality technical reports
* Supporting construction phase services such as piling and earthworks supervision
* Project management of a range of projects (often performed concurrently)
* Mentoring of junior engineers/geotechnicians within a team environment
Expect a mix of field and office work, with the chance to contribute across all project stages — from investigation to analysis and design, including project management
What We're Looking For
* Degree in Civil, Geotechnical, or Geological Engineering (or similar)
* 7+ years' industry experience preferred
* Solid understanding of geotechnical principles, lab and field testing
* Experience with geotechnical software
* Strong communication and reporting skills
* Capability to Manage/Supervise a small consulting team
