The Darwin Ship Lift Facility will enable the maintenance and servicing of Defence and Australian Border Force vessels, along with commercial and private vessels from the oil, gas and marine industries.
Clough BMD Joint Venture will design and construct the facility to meet the needs of the general maritime sector and the current and long-term needs of the Department of Defence and the Australian Border Force, while making a positive impact through business opportunities, jobs and community initiatives in the Territory.

e require a Procurement Officer to join our project team. This role would suit a Graduate or person with 1-2 years experience who is willing to learn and be mentored.

he OpportunityT
he Supply Chain team is responsible for supporting the Project in achieving its full potential by supporting the delivery of value through supply chain and procurement improvement initiatives.A
s the Procurement Specialist you will be based on site as part of Darwin Shiplift Project and will play a vital role in the supply chain, being the integral link between the Supply chain team and the Site Construction group ensuring accurate, cost effective and efficient procurement of materials, goods and services whilst also supporting the Supply Chain team in achieving project cost and scheduled targets.

ey Responsibilities
S- AP ERP Systems
M- onitor MR/PR creation and process through to PO approvals
C- hecks integrity of data in RFS for conversion to Purchase Orders
E- nsures accurate and timely production/release of PO's to Suppliers
P- rovide ad-hoc analytics and fulfilling SAP data requests
I- ssues Purchase Orders and applicable attachments via Document Control process.
R- eview planned expenditure against budget and obtain approval for all procurements.
W- orks with Department Heads to identify timelines required in the procurement of goods and services
E- xpedite deliveries with suppliers as required
M- anages cost and schedule variations including project approvals and issue of Purchase Order revisions
U- ndertake designated administrative duties associated with Supply Chain and Procurement
R
equired Skills
M- in 1-3 years' experience in a similar role.
T- ertiary education certificate in admin related subjects – Business, Commercial, Supply Chain or Procurement
S- ound understanding of Procurement, Cost and Stock Control procedures.
E- xperience in Microsoft Office and SAP (desired)
T- he ability to respond to the changing needs of others, or the business, while maintaining a high standard of quality
S- ound interpersonal skills, with good communication skills coupled with a professional attitude to deliver high standards
W- ell-developed time management skills
F- lexibility and mobility, whilst being process oriented
S- trong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of the role
