We are looking for passionate individuals who are eager to kickstart their careers in heavy industries – Mining & Manufacturing.
The ideal candidate will be safety-focused, team-orientated, and have good interpersonal skills. They must also have a valid working right in Australia and currently reside in the country.
You will be based at either our Whyalla Steelworks or Mining sites, where you will gain hands-on experience with tools, equipment, and machinery relevant to your trade.
Our apprenticeships offer a great mix of practical work experience and technical learning, giving you a head start in your career.
About On-Site Experience
Outside of Trade School Training, our apprentices gain valuable experience on-site with access to state-of-the-art facilities and expert professionals.
About Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this opportunity, applicants must:
* Have completed Year 11 at high school and had a minimum of 12 months work experience; OR
* Have completed Year 11 in 2025 and are on the pathway to gaining their high school certificate.*
*Those on the pathway to gaining their high school certificate will be signed up to a school-based apprenticeship.
