We are seeking skilled professionals to perform various operational functions for the production of Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF). The ideal candidate will be mechanically minded and have experience in operating machinery.
The role operates under a 12-hour rotating roster. Responsibilities include:
1. Setting, adjusting, and performing production runs on sanding and cut-to-size equipment.
2. Monitoring machine operations to detect malfunctions and resolve problems.
3. Observing gauges, meters, and control panels to obtain information about equipment temperatures and pressures.
To succeed in this role:
* You should have sound computer skills and experience with automated control systems and CNC/PLC equipment.
