Seeking a motivated individual to join our team in the role of Hospital Cleaner. The successful candidate will be part of the Asuria Employability Skills Training Program.
The position involves cleaning patient rooms, theatres, offices, restrooms, and public areas to maintain high hygiene standards.
1. Cleaning surfaces using approved disinfectants and following infection control protocols.
2. Performing deep cleans in high-risk areas and handling biohazardous waste safely.
3. Managing soiled linen and laundry tasks, and monitoring and replenishing cleaning supplies.
4. Maintaining accurate inventory records and following all OH&S and hospital safety protocols.
Requirements for the position include:
* Previous experience in commercial or healthcare cleaning is preferred.
* Knowledge of safe chemical handling and cleaning practices.
* Understanding of infection prevention and control procedures.
* A valid Police Check and Working with Children Check (employee version), or willingness to obtain.
* Updated Covid and Flu vaccinations and serology report.
