Our OSHC team is seeking superstar Educators in permanent part‑time and casual capacities to provide quality before and after school care from Monday to Friday. Additional hours are provided for professional development, training, team meetings and more. Split Shift Allowance is also payable. You'll help to coordinate and/or deliver a variety of leisure‑based programs for children aged 5 to 12 years – from arts and crafts to sport games.
Locations
* Bayles – Bayles Regional Primary School, Ballarto Road. Hours: 6:15 am‑8:45 am and 3:15 pm‑6:30 pm.
* Lang Lang – Lang Lang Primary School, Westernport Road. Hours: same as above.
* Drouin South – Drouin South Primary School, Westernport Road. Hours: same as above.
* Koo Wee Rup – St John the Baptist Primary School, Station Street. Hours: 6:15 am‑8:45 am and 2:55 pm‑6:30 pm.
In addition to the school term program, we also run an OSHC School Holiday Program at Koo Wee Rup during the Victorian public school holidays. Running for 2 weeks each term break and 3 weeks every January. Programme runs Monday‑Friday 7:30 am‑6:30 pm, offering extended hours and additional work opportunities.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate and deliver leisure‑based programs for children aged 5‑12.
• Provide quality before and after school care Monday‑Friday.
• Attend professional development, training and team meetings.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, culturally responsive environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Experienced in Early Childhood Education and Care, Before/After School Care, Vacation Care, or similar.
* Energetic, enthusiastic team player.
* Police and Working With Children Check.
* Medical Check (booked upon recruitment).
* Approved First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certificate.
* Child Protection Mandatory Reporting Certificate.
* Do Food Safely Certificate.
* Lead Educator: Diploma level ACECQA approved qualification for Educators working with preschool‑aged children, or holding an approved Certificate 3 Level qualification.
* Assistant Educator: Enrolment in or ACECQA approved qualification for Educators working with preschool‑aged children.
* Current Victorian Working with Children's Check and Victorian Driver's Licence.
* Current HLTAID012 and HLTAID009 certificates (or willingness to undertake).
* Understanding of school‑age children's needs and development.
* Experience with National Quality Framework.
* Ability to develop positive relationships with children and families.
* Willingness to promote inclusive, culturally responsive, safe and accessible practices.
* Willingness to undertake pre‑employment screening.
* Right to Work in Australia.
