About The Role
This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background and demonstrated experience in B2B technology sales, particularly within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
* Developing and executing a strategic sales plan targeting mid-market businesses (100–500 users).
* Identifying new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and market research.
* Driving end-to-end sales of ICT solutions including cloud services, cybersecurity, device management, and modern workplace technologies.
* Leading client engagements from initial contact through to signed agreements, ensuring alignment with Entag's delivery capabilities.
* Facilitating client workshops and discovery sessions to gather requirements and propose tailored solutions.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, and strategic partners such as Telstra and Microsoft.
* Managing your sales pipeline using CRM and Telstra systems, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
* Collaborating with internal technical leads to ensure proposed solutions are viable and aligned with client needs.
* Advocating for cyber-first managed services, including compliance with ASD Essential 8 and Zero Trust frameworks.
* Staying up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to maintain a competitive edge
About you: You're a confident, self-motivated sales professional with a strong technical foundation and a passion for helping businesses transform through technology. You thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy the thrill and hustle of sales excellence.
* 5+ years of B2B ICT sales experience, ideally in a Business Development or MSP-focused role.
* Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in competitive markets.
* Ability to leverage an existing network of industry contacts to accelerate pipeline growth and drive early-stage opportunities is highly desired.
* Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity principles, and device management.
* Ability to articulate the strategic value of outsourcing IT services and managed solutions.
* Deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as ASD Essential 8 and Zero Trust.
* Familiarity with the Australian ICT market and experience selling end-to-end managed services.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
* Strong negotiation and closing skills, with commercial acumen and a customer-centric mindset.
* Proficiency in CRM platforms and sales tools to manage pipeline and reporting.
* Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
