Automation Systems Developer Role
As a pivotal member of the automation team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing custom systems for manufacturing processes.
* Support the development and activation of new automation projects, including mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, pneumatics routing, I/O checkouts, and production qualification.
* Update/modify electrical, pneumatic, and fluid schematics to ensure optimal system performance.
* Troubleshoot and remedy problems with mechanical/electrical/pneumatic systems, HMI's, and PLC's to minimize downtime.
You will also be responsible for maximizing equipment efficiency, troubleshooting existing assets, and improving long-term system reliability.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
* 3+ years of experience supporting the design and manufacture of assembly machinery or high-volume products.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of industry standards, PLC & HMI programming experience, industrial machine networking experience, and electrical schematic drawing experience.
