Essential Qualifications for both roles:
* Diploma Qualified in Early Childhood Education and Care or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or an equivalent).
* A current and valid Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one.
* First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.
Essential Skills and Attributes:
* Ability to provide a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for all children.
* Understanding the developmental milestones and needs of children in various age groups.
* Capability to design, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate programs for children.
* Ability to work as part of a diverse team.
* Adaptable to various situations and needs that arise in an early childhood setting.
Desirable Skills and Knowledge:
* Familiarity with the national early learning framework for children from birth to five years.
* Understanding of the standards and assessment process to ensure quality service.
* Respect and understanding of diverse cultures, families and individual children's needs.
* Proficiency in using computers and relevant software to document children's learning and development.
* Experience as a Lead Educator or similar roles for the Lead Educator role.
