Job Overview
The Primary Support Educator plays a vital role in collaborating with teachers, students, and parents to create an inclusive learning environment that enhances individualised student growth, engagement, and wellbeing.
Main Responsibilities:
* Act as the primary teacher liaison under the guidance of the Head of Student Learning and Support to provide tailored interventions for students.
* Guide teachers in developing curriculum for the learning interventions to support students with additional needs.
* Offer advice to primary school teachers in managing student behaviour of students with special needs or requiring additional support.
* Assist primary teachers in record-keeping and documentation related to student learning progress and outcomes.
* Evaluate and ensure compliance with school policies and child safety regulations.
Essential Qualifications:
* A genuine commitment to their faith and regular attendance at church.
* Relevant qualifications and/or experience in education support.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
* Ability to deliver differentiated and individualised learning support to students with diverse needs.
