Role Description
This is a mobile contract role for a qualified Podiatrist based in Sydney, NSW. The Podiatrist will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing conditions affecting clients' feet, ankles, and lower limbs. Primary responsibilities include creating personalized treatment plans, providing expert advice on managing chronic conditions, and delivering interventions such as orthotics and gait analysis. The role involves working with clients across diverse populations, including aged care, NDIS, and DVA, ensuring best practices and individualized support to enhance mobility and overall health.
Qualifications
* Expertise in Podiatry and Medicine, including knowledge of foot and lower limb anatomy and treatment protocols.
* Skills in Biomechanics and Orthotics for assessing and addressing gait, structural, and functional foot concerns.
* Experience in managing conditions related to Diabetes, with a focus on preventative and therapeutic foot care.
* Strong commitment to patient care and the ability to develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with a diverse client base.
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Podiatry, with current AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance.
* Experience in mobile healthcare and familiarity with the needs of NDIS, aged care, and DVA clients are highly regarded.
