Northern Adelaide Local Health Network – Lyell McEwin Hospital – Elizabeth Vale Salary : $104,180 - $111,746 p.a. plus Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice benefits – AHP3 Temporary Full-Time, up to June 2026 About the Role: The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a passionate Senior Social Worker to join our Allied Health team. The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is a leading provider of public healthcare services in South Australia. The Senior Social Worker is responsible to the Senior Manager of Social Work for the development, implementation, coordination and evaluation of quality Social Work services for patients of NALHN, clinical areas of Emergency, Intensive Care, High Dependency and Medicine, General, Surgery, Women's & Children's, inpatient and outpatient. Working in conjunction with other Social Work members and other health professionals the Senior Clinician optimises patient functional and health outcomes in this specialty area. As a highly skilled and competent clinician in the areas of Social Work, the incumbent delivers quality services and provides clinical leadership within the acute hospital services, providing support and supervision to less experienced staff. To be eligible for this position, you must be approved to work in Australia and hold an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers. Applicants with proven experience working in a major tertiary teaching hospital with supervision of staff, data and procedure management are desirable.
