AMEK ENGINEERING Pty Ltd is seeking a HVAC Mechanical Engineer to join our busy team located in the Belmont area.Qualification and experience:Bachelors degree in Engineering TradespersonQualifications suitable for membership of Engineers AustraliaAt least one year of Mechanical Engineering experience in AustraliaStrong understanding of HVAC Systems & DesignsHVAC qualifications (or country equivalent) are essentialTasks & Responsibilities:Design, develop, and implement HVAC systems for a variety of building typesProduce technical drawings, schematics, and specifications for HVAC systemsOversee HVAC projects from concept through to installation and commissioning.Prepare and review technical reports, manuals, and compliance documentationTroubleshoot and resolve HVAC system performance issuesEnsure all HVAC designs and installations comply with Australian standardsCore competenciesStrong understanding of mechanical system principles, fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and thermodynamics.Ability to perform detailed calculations, simulations, and system optimizationsProficient with HVAC design software (such as AutoCAD & Revit)Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with clients, stakeholders, and team members effectively.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work both independently and within a team environment
