Remote Site Manager - NSW Secure
The Compass Group provides multi-service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites, gold mines and coal fields. We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback.
We are seeking experienced managers to work remotely across regional NSW on a 14/7 roster working 12 hour days.
Flights ex Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane, accommodation and meals provided.
The Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the management of Village Operations and provide relief coverage where required.
* Maintain consistent operational performance, driving quality, cost, people capability and performance.
* Drive regular and sustainable improvement in our safety performance.
* Foster a high-performance culture through continuous improvement and innovation.
* Prioritise staff engagement and development, modelling positive working relationships, demonstrating trust, care and respect.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Experience in Village Management or Relief Management positions in a remote setting.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to build effective and engaged teams.
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships and project deadlines with competing priorities.
* Strong financial and analytical skills in developing budgets and allocating appropriate resources.
* Ability to identify and implement new innovations within facilities management, hospitality or hotel services.
* Experience in staff recruitment, retention, rostering and subsequent management of both permanent and casual workforces.
* Chef qualifications are desirable as is proven management experience in the hospitality field, ideally within a catering and/or accommodation services environment.
* White card required for site entry requirements.
