Job Overview
Calibre is seeking experienced Network Engineers to drive network infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform system administration tasks using Oracle Linux and Microsoft Windows.
* Provide support to daily operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all workstation, server, storage, and network devices.
* Troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
* Develop and maintain standard operating environments.
* Execute maintenance procedures to complete tasks such as system backup, account management, disaster recovery, system upgrades, and patching.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Demonstrated experience as a Windows system administrator for medium to large-scale ICT systems, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and WDS.
* Experience with configuration management, software management, ICT system roll-out, cabling/wiring, and computer server/networking hardware.
* High-level verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience with VMWare hypervisor, vCenter, ESXi, NSX, and Docker.
* Windows – AD, DHCP, DNS, Domain Controllers, PKI, Terminal Server, KMS, Group Policy, WDS, and Ivanti – Device Control.
* Hold vendor certifications (VMware, Microsoft, Linux).
Desirable Skills and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
* Experience with Linux operating system administration.
* Experience with virtual desktop infrastructures and monitoring.
* Experience with current networking technologies, including WAN routing protocols and VPNs.
* Experience creating high-level/low-level designs and reference architecture.
* Familiarity with DevOps, agile methods, and tools such as SCRUM with JIRA.
* Software development experience.
* Systems engineering experience.
* Systems and software testing experience.
