About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity is available for an enthusiastic and energetic Chef de Partie to join our talented kitchen team on a full‐time basis. In this role, you will help lead the effective day‐to‐day operation of the kitchen, working collaboratively with the wider culinary team to deliver high‐quality food and exceptional service to our members and guests.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing and serving a consistently high‐quality product
* Managing stock rotation and minimising wastage
* Overseeing and performing operational duties within your section
* Working across all areas of the kitchen operation as required
* Training and inducting staff, and supporting the development of apprentices, cooks and chefs
What you'll need to be successful
* A Commercial Cookery qualification, recognised in Australia
* Demonstrated cookery experience with well‐developed knife skills
* Ability to thrive in a large, busy and fast‐paced kitchen
* Capacity to safely lift up to 20 kg and perform repetitive manual tasks
* Full working rights in Australia
