Delaware North Australia is hiring a full-time Sales Manager to join our team at Victoria Racing Club (VRC) as part of our new partnership, where Delaware North will support year-round hospitality and non-race day events. As Sales Manager, you'll focus on cultivating high-value client relationships, driving new business opportunities, and guiding a dynamic sales team within a premium events environment. You'll take the lead on non-race day event sales at Flemington Racecourse.

What will you do?
* Own and execute the non-race day sales strategy
* Build and manage a strong pipeline of corporate, social and premium event clients
* Drive revenue growth through new business, upselling and account expansion
* Lead high-quality proposals, pitches and contract negotiations
* Act as senior adviser for key clients and major accounts
* Lead, coach and develop a high-performing sales and events team
* Represent the business at industry events and client forums
* Ensure CRM accuracy, reporting and sales governance
More About You
* 5+ years' experience in event sales, catering sales or hospitality sales leadership
* Proven success driving revenue in premium venues or large-scale events
* EBMS or CRM experience essential
* Intermediate to advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
* Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
* Confident communicator with executive-level presence
* Passion for client experience and relationship-led selling
