Job Summary
We are seeking a Site Services & Projects Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Mine General Manager, the Site Services & Projects Manager will be responsible for overseeing site services activities, planning and executing sustaining and capital improvement projects, and managing overall site-wide continuous improvement initiatives.
This position is based in Geraldton, Ontario, with travel to the mine site on a rotation basis.
Key Responsibilities
* Understand project scope and business drivers; lead planning, development, and implementation of site services, mine sustaining and capital projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Manage site-wide activities such as water and waste management, roads, infrastructure, and building management.
* Engage with management to develop mine strategies and overall direction.
* Lead and manage teams of engineers, project coordinators, contractors, and site services personnel.
* Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance management to meet project goals.
* Define project scopes clearly and ensure delivery within budget, on time, and with high quality.
* Promote and maintain a strong safety culture.
Required Experience and Skills
* Minimum of 15+ years of relevant professional experience, including at least 3 years in a mine setting (asset).
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
