**The opportunity**

If you enjoy outdoor work, with a mix of the natural environment and large-scale infrastructure sites then this may be for you. Our Water Resource Operators manage daily dam operations, collect hydrological data, manage water releases and perform maintenance activities across the entire CHW Region.

The incumbent is expected to be prepared to work outside normal working hours on a rotating stand-by roster to satisfactorily undertake out of hours security patrols and respond to headworks incidents. With adequate training the incumbent is expected to participate on the CHW Industrial Fire Brigade fire duty roster.

**About you**

This means you care deeply about the physical and psychological safety of people so that our team return home in great shape at the end of the day.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

- Current Victorian Drivers Licence.
- Demonstrated relevant experience in operating water resource systems, including experience in operation and maintenance for bulk water supply systems, incorporating land maintenance.
- Demonstrated experience in arranging and supervising minor contractors and minor works projects.
- Demonstrated good communication and public relations skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and independently in remote or isolated environments.
