About the role
In this role, you'll drive the enhancement of our IT Service Management capability, specifically how we manage and respond to ICT incidents, service requests, problems and changes across our digital environment. You'll review incident trends to identify root causes, coordinate investigations and seek effective solutions that minimise disruption and improve performance, aligning processes IT Service Management principles.
An emerging leader, you'll be responsible for leading a small team, build strong relationships the business to ensure IT services are reliable, resilient and continuously improving.
This is a casual role to cover a secondment and you will be engaged by a third party agency.
About you
You bring a background in ICT Service Management, with a focus on incident, problem and change management. You're a natural collaborator who communicates clearly and across a range of stakeholders with varying degrees of technical understanding.
Problem solving will be a key skill, coupled with your ability to think critically and make decisions that balance both technical requirements and business need. You're motivated working in a role that creates impact and challenges you.
Your experience in service desk management may be supported by certificates or qualifications in ICT, business or similar. You'll bring knowledge of service desk portals Atlassian and Microsoft technologies and a desire to learn new and emerging technology. You'll work with a supportive and empowered team and thrive in an environment of digital transformation and change.
