Job Description
The Financial Accountant will be responsible for the following:
* Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
* Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes.
* Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy in financial data.
* Process invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
* Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
* Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
* Collaborate with internal teams to address financial queries.
* Assist with audits and provide required documentation.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accountant should have:
* Relevant qualifications in accounting or a related field.
* CA/CPA or equivalent
* Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
* Experience in a similar role within a large complex business
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.
* Familiarity with the industrial and manufacturing sector is advantageous.
