Based in Cooma (Snowy Mountains), we are looking for a responsible and experienced individual to join our team as a Laboratory Supervisor. Working independently this role reports to the Laboratory Services Manager (NSW) and involves running an on-site project lab based in the Snowy Mountains area. There will be 4 or 5 Supervisors working across the Rosters and locations. This role will be on a 2:1 roster drive in/out of Cooma. All accommodation and meals will be provided.
Your day will involve
* Manage a small team of technicians to deliver to the client's needs and internal requirements
* Conduct sampling of both concrete and quarry materials
* Conduct testing in accordance with laboratory work instructions, test methods, preparation instructions and manuals
* Calibrate laboratory equipment as required
* Maintain, observe, and take part in the statutory safety requirements of the Laboratory operations
* Maintenance of the Laboratory according to NATA accreditation requirements
* Other duties as directed by the Laboratory Services Manager (NSW)
