SENIOR JAVA ENGINEER – 6 MONTH CONTRACT - ASAP START
Melbourne-Based (Hybrid: 2–3 days in the office, the rest from home)

What You'll Be Doing
* Designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software using Java Spring Boot / Hibernate
* Building reliable, scalable systems across microservices and event-driven architectures
* Driving automation, DevOps self-service, and AWS operational best practices
* Leading technical design and implementation across cross-functional teams
* Mentoring and uplifting engineers while championing continuous improvement
What You Bring
* Atleast 6+ years as a Senior Java Engineer (Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.)
* Strong experience with AWS (VPC, EC2, ECS, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, RDS, etc.)
* Some exposure to ReactJS will be beneficial
* Familiarity with microservices and Kafka (or similar)
* Solid understanding of CI/CD, Docker, and automated testing
* An agile, collaborative mindset and a passion for delivering great solutions
Daily Rate
Approx. $1000 - $1020 per day inc Super (Depending on experience)
