Job Description
Join a dynamic, passionate and highly skilled Shepparton team. You will make a valuable contribution as a Rehabilitation Consultant. This is a great opportunity to work across the Northern Victoria region across Shepparton and surrounds.
Some of your day to day includes:
* Work collaboratively with injured workers, potential employers, and your internal team of allied health professionals to provide safe, sustainable opportunities for workers to re-enter the workforce;
* Provide vocational counselling services to support injured workers utilizing your motivational interviewing skills.
* Contribute to injured workers ability to achieve return to work goals through job skills development, confidence building and promoting independence;
* Apply and deliver customer service in employment services and job placement;
* Empower clients to effectively present their skills and abilities when seeking employment;
* Build strong relationships with local employers and organisations;
* Complete written progress and various other reports on a regular basis.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy or Occupational Therapy.
* Full AHPRA registration or Full ESSA Accreditation or eligibility to obtain
* Experience in Occupational and/or Vocational Rehabilitation is highly desirable
* Strong resume writing skills with an understanding of local labour market;
* A passion for assisting people to gain employment and enhance their careers;
* The ability to grow our services and build strong relationships with key customers;
* Current driver licence and motor vehicle.
