Trade Development and Training Coordinator Role
The Trade Development and Training Coordinator plays a key role in creating, coordinating, and supporting training delivery to travel trade partners for Tasmania.
This involves working with travel agents, wholesalers, and tour operators to deliver training on Tasmania's trade-ready tourism offering through various platforms such as webinars, face-to-face events, presentations, and online resources.
The coordinator will work closely with the Trade, Partnerships and International team to build advocates for Tasmania and ensure that partners can learn how to position, promote, and sell our tourism offering to target customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Central Coordination: Provide central coordination of travel trade inbox and enquiries to support holistic work programs, referrals to industry and Partnership Managers, and provide pathways to training programs.
2. Tasmanian Tourism Industry Participation: Coordinate and manage Tasmanian tourism industry participation to support training content development and build connections between industry and training audiences.
3. Training Program Delivery: Support delivery of the trade training program of activities including logistics, event delivery, training components, follow-ups, and reporting.
4. Host Duties: Host duties as required.
5. Administration: Administration of the trade training program calendar including updating databases, advising and resolving clashes in scheduling, and providing reporting on training outcomes.
