About the Role
Key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
Manage and oversee daily absences and replacements
Facilitate induction for non-teaching staff
Maintain organisation Blue Card Portal and renewal payments
Oversee office staff workflow, process and work load
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail, including a high level of accuracy and demonstrate a high level of confidentiality
Manage and lead fortnightly team meetings for support staff (Administration and Teacher Aides)
Responsible for processing a range of weekly casual claims
Process SBS credits for Teachers Aides within Inclusion and Prep
Servicing TLM biometrics system for Admin and Teacher Aide timesheets
Produce timesheets
Oversee and allocate before & after school duties for Teacher Aides
Organise Professional development opportunities and Annual Training for all support staff
Facilitate vocational placement opportunities.
More about you:
Willingness to undertake specific training to enhance skills as necessary
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a part of a team
Proven ability to build strong working relationships and rapport with a diverse range of people
Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, proactive and show initiative
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Excellent organisational, communication and time management to multitask and work well under pressure and to manage shifting priorities and interruptions in an office environment.
Ability to think logically and solve problems
Maintain strict confidentiality as per the Code of Conduct for Qld Public Servants
Experience in similar position within a school is highly desirable.
