We are seeking experienced and highly motivated Project Surveyors to join our Survey and Inspections team. These positions will be based in DOF Subsea's Perth office and will include offshore travel.

**Opportunities**
Reporting to the Survey and Geomatics Lead, the role will take the lead in survey support to projects, from tendering to project close-out. You will be busy balancing time between tendering, planning and preparation support, ensuring that the equipment spread meet the project requirements, testing of survey systems, take a lead survey role in vessels during offshore operations and ensuring that survey projects are closed out including deliverables.
Working closely with the Tendering and Project Execution Teams will position you in a pivotal role, directly contributing towards the commercial success of DOF project execution activities.

Your duties will include but not limited to:
- Provide tendering, planning, preparation, execution and reporting support to the Survey and Geomatics Lead
- Ensure work undertaken on projects is professionally executed in compliance with company and client standards, safety, and quality metrics
- Ensure final client deliverables are compliant of contract and delivered on time and within budget
- Assist with technical development including the analysis of new and the integration of emerging technologies
- Play an active role in the smooth and efficient delivery of survey department operations and services
- Undertake multi-role survey activities as and when required, working in the office, and offshore as required
- Assist with the delivery of survey services to internal projects and external clients
- Liaises and collaborates proactively with the department Asset Lead and other stakeholders in assessing the requirements for project specific hardware and software
- Maintain vessels equipment, assist with inventories, calibrations, and documentations
**Requirements**:
You will have:
- A tertiary qualification in Marine Sciences such as Geoscience or in Land or Hydrographic surveying
- At least 7 years' experience in a range of differing offshore types of survey methods
- Experienced in a range of survey software and equipment
- Demonstrative experience in liaison with Client, Contractor, and Supplier
- Good understanding of industry guidelines and specifications, such as IMCA
- Experienced in using EIVA Software
- Experience in the use of LBL systems
- Experience with AUV, ROV, diving and inspection survey activities
- Experience with MBES
You will be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role and prioritising a variety of requests for different projects. You will thrive in a team environment, whilst taking full ownership of your responsibilities, with proven ability to prioritise in a time sensitive, dynamic environment.
Your previous experience will provide you with the ability to take a lead role in end-to-end survey projects, therefore it is critical that you enjoy working with different stakeholders, can undertake multi -role survey activities to assist with the delivery of survey services to both internal and external clients.
