About the Role
You will be responsible for carrying out bricklaying duties across a range of residential and commercial projects. The role requires attention to detail, ability to work independently or as part of a team, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lay bricks, blocks, and other masonry materials to specification
* Read and interpret building plans and technical drawings
* Construct and repair walls, partitions, arches, and other structures
* Mix mortar and prepare work materials
* Operate power tools and hand tools safely
* Ensure adherence to workplace health and safety requirements
* Maintain high standards of workmanship at all times
Requirements
* Proven experience as a bricklayer (minimum 1 year preferred)
* Competency in bricklaying techniques and construction practices
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Strong work ethic and reliability
* White Card (Construction Induction) – essential
* Driver's licence and own transport – preferred
* Ability to work in outdoor conditions
