So, what's the role?
This is a key leadership role focused on growing and strengthening our broker channel. As the Manager, Broker Partnerships & Key Accounts, you'll lead our broker business development function, drive growth through our niche network, and manage key partnerships. You'll develop and execute strategies, build strong broker relationships, and work closely with internal teams to lift performance and deliver sustainable outcomes.
In a Typical Day You Will Get Involved In
* Leading, coaching, and developing your team to deliver on strategic and performance goals
* Managing key broker accounts and acting as the main point of contact
* Executing broker partnership strategies aligned to business objectives
* Building strong broker relationships to drive growth and retention
* Monitoring performance, analysing KPIs, and sharing insights
* Collaborating with internal teams to align initiatives
* Supporting brokers with training and guidance
* Identifying new opportunities and staying across market trends
* Managing risk, compliance, and partnership agreements
About You
You're a strategic, commercially minded leader who knows how to build and grow partnerships. You combine strong relationship skills with analytical thinking and people leadership. You lead and empower your team, and confidently influence stakeholders to deliver results aligned to business goals. You bring a collaborative, solutions‐focused mindset and a passion for delivering great outcomes for Members and partners.
Ideally You'll Have
* Experience in broker management, partnership development, or similar leadership roles
* Proven success driving growth through broker or third‐party channels
* Strong leadership capability, with experience developing and uplifting teams
* Solid understanding of the mortgage broking industry and regulatory frameworksKnowledge of NCC, FSR, and Privacy Act requirements
* Tier 2 qualification and retail banking experience
* Strong commercial acumen and ability to turn insights into action
* Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
