About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate School Support Professional to join our team.
Main Responsibilities:
* Work closely with teachers in developing and implementing individualized support plans for students with additional needs.
* Provide feedback on student progress and contribute to program planning and implementation.
* Support students in classroom settings, helping them develop social skills and reach their full potential.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should be able to work effectively as part of a team, build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Your ability to remain patient, calm, and composed under pressure is also essential.
A relevant tertiary qualification and experience working with children with special needs are highly desirable. Additionally, a willingness to participate in ongoing professional development is expected.
