We are excited to invite applications for a Centre Chef to join our brand new Aspire Weir Views Centre. This is a wonderful opportunity to be part of a new service from the very beginning and play a key role in supporting children's health wellbeing and development through nutritious meals.

The Centre Our Weir Views Centre is a brand new purpose built service featuring a modern industrial kitchen and welcoming learning environments. You will help establish strong food practices and set high standards from day one.

The Opportunity And Responsibilities
* Plan and prepare daily meals for children aged 0 to 6 years
* Cook breakfast morning tea lunch and afternoon tea
* Follow centre nutrition guidelines and the Healthy Together Achievement Program
* Manage stock ordering and budget control
* Maintain a safe hygienic and compliant kitchen
* Cater for allergies dietary needs and anaphylaxis requirements
* Engage with educators children and families to build strong community connections
About You
* Commercial Cookery Qualification Certificate III or higher
* Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
* Safe Food Handling Certificate
* Experience in early learning or childcare preferred
* Strong time management skills and ability to work independently
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Current Working with Children Check
* First Aid Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
