This is a full-time position based across various civil and urban development projects in the Northern NSW region. You can expect to work on challenging projects that allow our employees to grow and develop with us.

Your main responsibilities will include:
* Team building and mentoring
* Carry out site safety inspections in line with legislation, policies, and procedures
* Implementation of WHS strategies and initiatives
* Provide advice and guidance to project staff
* Document and assist in WHS investigations and incidents
* Conduct WHS Audits and report on findings
To succeed in this role, you should have:
* A Diploma in WHS or related field
* Current Drug & Alcohol Screening/Testing Qualification
* A Safety Differently/Safety II mindset
* Experience on civil construction projects, ideally with a focus on urban development
* Current First Aid & CPR certificate
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn new IT systems
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical examination, including a drug and alcohol screen
* WHS risk management knowledge to facilitate the development of safe work procedures
* A team player with a can-do attitude
