Provide high level technical decision, support and advice to maintain defined enterprise service levels in one or more technology domains, including advice on the automation of deployment and testing tools and processes.
This role focuses on delivering and sustaining critical information services and innovative technology solutions to support delivery of healthcare services for Queenslanders.

What you'll do
Establish and maintain highly effective working relationships with other staff within the branch to ensure the alignment and integration of operational services, processes and service levels across the branch.
Provide advice on DevOps automation tools, scripts and processes.
Provide high level technical skills in the analysis of IT system issues and the formulation, design and provision of appropriate solutions and improvements.
Provide effective change management, capacity planning, incident management, risk management and continuity planning utilising best practices in systems support and service delivery, preferably with the ITIL framework.
Ensure end to end service delivery for enterprise systems within Queensland Health.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
Demonstrated ability in developing and promoting ITIL Service Management processes primarily incident / problem / test / change and configuration management.
(SFIA: USUP Level 4, PBMG Level 4, CHMG Level 4, CFMG Level 3, TEST Level 4)
Demonstrated technical expertise and experience in some of the following technology domains to analyse ICT system issues, and contribute to the design and implementation of appropriate solutions and improvements (SFIA: TECH Level 5)
Database Administration: SQL Microsoft Server suite of products – all supported versions in Enterprise configuration *****, ****, ****, ****, ****, **** and ****)
Experience in other database technologies would be an advantage.
Demonstrated skills in PowerShell and TSQL.
Demonstrated skills in deployment automation scripts, Octopus, Continuous Integration build tools and processes.
Demonstrated ability to provide high level of technical expertise to provide technical direction, standardisation, professional advice and support of enterprise infrastructure in a large customer focus organisation
Well-developed oral and written communication skills to enable effective interaction in individual and group situations and the ability to maintain relevant registers and develop reports for management.

Ability to meet service delivery targets and implement quantifiable service improvements by coordinating multiple tasks within agreed priorities, time frames and working unsupervised.
